Wireless Networks

The premises of the university libraries are almost completely covered by a Wi-Fi-signal. In these areas some networks are visible with the following identifiers (SSID):

UniPisa

The official network of the University of Pisa, reserved for institutional users that have their own university credentials. More information about the University Credentials.

Eduroam

This network is available for teachers, staff of the University of Pisa and for all guest users who have credentials provided by a federated external structure.

GuestUnipi

The "Open" network that does not require any password or credentials. Its use is limited to the university's internal services.

Teaching

The network reserved for teachers active only in the areas of didactic activities (Poli Didattici). Additional information available on https://ict.unipi.it/rete/wireless/nuova_infrastruttura.

Fixed Network

The premises of the university libraries have computers available for Internet access from a landline. The use of such stations is permitted for the purposes of research, study and documentation.
