CAB Abstracts (Ovid)

The most comprehensive database of its kind, CAB Abstracts gives researchers instant access to over 8 million records from 1973 onwards, with over 360,000 abstracts added each year. Its coverage of the applied life sciences includes agriculture, environment, veterinary sciences, applied economics, food science and nutrition.




The AGRICOLA (AGRICultural OnLine Access) database contains bibliographic records of books, serials, audiovisuals, and other materials acquired by the USA National Agricultural Library (NAL) and cooperating institutions in agricultural and related sciences. There are currently more than 4.1 million records in AGRICOLA. Seventy-eight percent describe journal articles and book chapters, and the remaining twenty-two percent describe monographs, serials, maps, electronic resources, and audiovisuals.
